An update from the old married couple

So we got married! But we have no pictures yet so no prettiness for you to look at.

We feel very old. We have lots of grownup furniture. No more cardboard boxes and plastic totes serving our needs as every piece of furniture (well, they haven't quite disappeared yet...) So we feel like we have a grownup house and we are little kids misplaced in such a big person house. Good thing it is still pretty disastrous because a completely clean house would feel even more grownup. We have lots of fun grownup toys though. Appliances are great and our toaster no longer sets off the smoke alarm every time we use it. We did have a slight fiasco setting fire to the pizza in the oven and the fire alarm didn't like that one bit, so we are seriously considering buying a fire extinguisher in case mishaps occur when Eric isn't home because Stephanie just likes to sit and watch the pretty fire.

Umm, so I've known Eric since 8th grade and we've been on the track and x-country teams together. He took me to prom my sophomore year in high school for my first date. We were friends and played alot together. He liked me allot our sophomore year, but I wasn't interested in boys then, too bad for him.... So then we graduated and in July he went on his mission to the West Indies French speaking. I think I wrote him once while he was gone, but he denies that I wrote him anything. Then he got home and I came to his homecoming with some friends. We played once that summer and went wave running, and he asked to be on my email list while I was in Switzerland. So I sent him some emails while I was abroad. I came home and he was taking French over the summer at BYU and needed someone as a speaking partner. So he tried to get ahold of me, but we went on vacation to Michigan, so we finally met up the end of July and had West Indies and Swiss food at his parents house out in Spanish Fork with his then girl friend and her little sister and we played some games after dinner too. So then he invited some friends to go watch an outdoor movie at Scera and only I came so it was me and him. Then the next week we went again and he told me that he and his girlfriend were breaking up and the next day they did. Then Friday we went and played. Saturday he took me to a movie. Monday we hung out and played all night long and got breakfast at 6am. Then Wednesday we went to the movies again and kissed for the first time. And then we played everyday until I left for school. We didn't know how things would go being far apart, but after being gone 3 days I decided I was flying home to go see him so I bought tickets for our 3day weekend in October. We later decided that was too far away and both drove out to Rexberg (where his sister was at school) for a three day weekend in September. When I came home in October he proposed. I told him to move up here, so he gave his two week notice and my mom helped him drive up at the beginning of November. We are so excited to be getting married on March 13th!

Funniness

So Stephanie and Eric have adventures lol.

Before Eric got up here, I finally decided to go and wash my car. It was filthy and hadn't been washed since driving up from Utah and I'd also driven to Idaho, so it was no longer pretty it wasn't even red, it was bug splattered guts colored. So I'd discovered that across the street from Safeway is a car wash, and since my car was so dirty, instead of driving through the auto one, (I was on the phone with Eric and he said to just go in the part where you wash it yourself) so I pulled into one and was oh so confused. So I had to go and get tokens cause I didn't have any coins, so i put in a dollar and got a token, so I had 2 minutes to wash the filthiest car in the world. Needless to say it took me longer so I had to get tokens, lots more cause the other other bill I had was a ten so I got 13 car wash tokens. :) Good thing I like having a clean car. So then i used alot i guess lol. And I didn't know how to work the thing and was laughing and on my bluetooth while washing my car in order to get instructions from Eric on how to do so. So if you ever need technical support on washing your car. You know who to call.

Another funniness, was I was going over to another engineers house to get a copy of an old test to study and I had Eric remember the address, cause its a number and that's his job. So we get there and ring the doorbell, and forever later the door is opened and this little old lady opens the door and I'm like I'm pretty sure this is the wrong house cause umm, college students don't live with little old ladies. So I ask if Sean is there and she's like no sorries, she's out of town right now and asks for a name so that she could tell her who came by. So I left her my name and went away and burst out laughing, and so then we figured out that his house was across the street and made it there and got the test all right, so I just hope whoever that was has a friend named Stephanie that can make her feel loved lol.

So there's some randomness, lol it happens all the time, like when Eric was playing with my phone and saw my quick texts so he's like oh, I want to play with these and then told me that he was going to send one to himself. And I teased him about texting himself cause that's pretty sad. So then we just talk and lo and behold, his phone vibrates a little while later and he's all excited cause someone loves him and sent him a text and then he reads it and realizes that it's the text that he sent himself ;P. hes' pretty silly. I love him so much!

The Engagement Beginning

So since I haven't written anything, it's my turn to write.

I'm so happy! I'm so crazy excited! Lol, today is so amazing awesome :D!!!!!

All I do is giggle.

So today I finally finished up with all of my horrid midterms and got to pack and get on an airplane to come home and see my Eric. So I get to the airport and we board early, and so I'm like dying cause this was a forever long flight cause I just wanted to get home and see my boy. and the flight kept going and going and trying to do homework didn't make it go any faster. So then they finally say that you can turn your cell phones back on and so I do and call Eric who decides he doesn't want to answere his phone the first time so I text and call again and finally get to say guess what! I'm on the ground in Utah and ready to run and see you and I confused him as to my location of getting out in the airportness so by the time I'm out there he is lost and I call him and direct him to me where I found him first :). So then we are so happy to see each others and eventually we get my suitcase and go and leave airport land and go downtown SLC to the building that I don't know the name of where we ate at the Garden on the top and saw prettyness and ate good foodness but I really don't remember that part lol.

So then after dinner we wander around the top floor but there are people's everywhere and so we wander and look at the prettiness. Eventually we go outside and wander about temple square talking and me laughing and giggling and skipping all over the place. We go over to the conference center and sadness we learn that my camera has no batteries so we had to take pictures with our cell phones which is sad but oh wells at least we have pictures....

So yeah we took lots of silly pictures and had fun and were talkings and just cruising around and then i'm listening to Eric's heart and it starts going really fast and I'm like your heart is going really fast and he's like ok, and so we move on and we talking and chatting and I'm hearing his heart go fast again and I'm like are you okay? and he's like yeah and we go on. And yeah we were there for a long time lol, but it was fun and good and I was so glad to be with my boy again and be able to have him hold me and to touch him cause y'know skype just doesn't do that for you. :)

So eventually we wandered around to the front of the temple inside the square just before 10. (9:45 lol) and we were standing there and talking and this time I didn't hear his heart go all crazy, but all of the sudden Eric's down on one knee and asking me to marry him! I say yes and he's like hey look here's your ring and I'm like what! I'm so confused cause he had been asking me if I wanted to go ring shopping this weekend and I'm like how in the world did he get a ring already especially cause it's so perfect and pretty and even has my green in it! :D! I love it. He did perfect! He is such the perfect boy for me it is so crazy amazing! I love him so much! So then we wents and looks in the light at my oh so pretty sparkle that my oh so perfect boy had gotten made just specials for me :D!

So guess what! We're getting married! Isn't that so exciting? I'm so glad to have my boy with me for forevers :D
